The Nova Escola Catalana was born with the intention of recovering and reviving the heritage and legacy of the old Catalan Jewish schools of study, from which the voice of the Torah arose with maximum splendor at the hands of our rabbis of blessed memory.

In parallel, we study and present what happened to Catalan Judaism from 1391 onwards: what happened to those who left and what happened to those who stayed.

We carry out our activities in different buildings located in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, and in all those facilities related in one way or another to the medieval Jewish life in Barcelona.
